Noterik is joining hands with ExMachina in organising a Hackathon that focusses on the way data sources can be used during a live broadcast that also offers interaction with the audience viewing the stream. We will be using gaming platform Twitch to realise this type of interactions.
The event is held as part of research project ‘More Profit from Data‘ conducted by the Universities of Applied Sciences of Amsterdam (HvA) and Utrecht (HU) and we welcome participants from different areas of expertise and interest.
Inspired by the new opportunities that Twitch Extensions offer, such as Smart Click Map, we want to challenge the teams of the hackathon to explore new interactions between viewers and streamers. Additionally, we want the streamers to be able to learn from their viewers so that they can improve their product (stream).
The 2-day hackathon will take place in the weekend of 21st and 22nd of April and will be held in Amsterdam at the MediaLab of the HvA. More information and a possibility to register can be found on http://www.twitchhackathon.nl.
