The BIRTH project was funded by the European Commission and stands for Building an Interactive Research and delivery network for Television Heritage. Noterik provided a portal application in the project for a pool of multimedia and multilingual archival audiovisual materials created since the first broadcasting days, over 50 years ago. The target audience of BIRTH was television professionals, the scientific community and the general public, and the archival materials ranged from audiovisual content to photographs and program guides from several European broadcast archives.
