Webcast
What is a webcast?
A webcast is a media file distributed over the Internet using streaming media technology. As a broadcast may either be live or recorded a webcast may either be distributed live or recorded. Essentially, webcasting is "broadcasting" over the Internet. Using streaming video technology the event can be transmitted to a PC anywhere around the world.
Who requires a webcast?
A webcast can be used for any kind of event which needs live broadcasting, without running into operational costs of a traditional television broadcast. Noterik has been serving webcast over a decade for a variety of clients. Our core webcast application Governance Online is being used by local municipalities, ngo's and fortune 500 companies.
