Memories of The Dutch East Indies online

In October 2009 Noterik finished the project Living Memories / Menhayati Kenangan. A grand total of 180 interviews - containing memories of the Dutch East Indies - were collected. The interviews are available on the website www.levendeherinneringen.nl.

The online video archive is designed in such a way that users can easily search through the entire collection of 250 hours of video using keywords.. It's also possible to filter a search request based on person, time and location.

When a video is opened, the layered player will offer the user the ability to quickly see the different chapters in the interview. For each chapter the player will also show a brief textual summary of the conversation so the user can quickly judge whether this interview is interesting for him or her.
